Hello hello. I'd like to introduce everyone to my new mascot, Gremlin the Mouse. I have no idea exactly how long this took me to do, I'd guess about fifteen or twenty minutes for the original sketch, honestly I spent more time trying to find the right colored pencils to do this then I spent actually coloring it. Anyway, Germlin was inspired by Gen8Hedgehog's Male Furry Dollmaker. Kind of cool tittle flash actually. I'd had about three or four pepsis by the time I came up with this guy in it and my Muse demanded that I draw him up. She get's pushy when she's jacked up on caffeine. That's right, my muse get's jack up when i drink soda, not me- kind of messed up but hey, whaccha gonna do about it. So yeah. Pretty much everything you see there was done by hand. I did do a little bit of cleanup in Photoshop though to get rid of some of the stray color lines and put his name at the top. Had to resize the picture too. Anyway. Tell me what you think.

Little challenge to anyone interested. Tell me what he's grinning over.

P.S. It was hard as hell to find the right color for that bandage and the insides of his ears. (Prang 14 Peach and 31 Light Brown for anyone who's curious curious.) If his hair color looks odd to you, don't worry, there's actually two seperate colors in there. A dark brown and then a color called Sepia. Sepia is the more obvious color.

Oh, before I forget. You can find that dollmaker here, along with the female version as well.

Later people.

hhahah, he is quite the peppy little thing. I like him. hmmm, whats he grinning over? Probably some really weird thought process or the guy thats drawing him. lol. *shrugs* No idea really, but thats my guess.

Yeah, he really is. Mischievous too. I really love how his eyes turned out, I hadn't expected them to turn out quite so well but they did. I might go and redo the right one though if I ever feel up to re-coloring the entire thing. *sighs* I really should learn how to use Photoshop better. Well anyway, you get a cookie for first comment. :D

Cookie! :D Yeah, the eyes are great, they give him a lot of character. Photoshop is great for little edits this is true. I should probably learn as well, I fiddle with it, but I still prefer the traditional stuff. lol.

oddly enough, this is only like the second picture I've colored in years, my hand kept cramping after the first ten minutes. I know what you mean though, the traditional approach is so much more satisfying in the end. Maybe that's just me though, I love working with my hands- and I have almost no control with a mouse, i can point and click and that's about the extent of my skills. Anyway, anything new and interesting with you?

Definatly more satisfying in the end. Huh, anything new.....not art wise. lol. I've been working on stuff on and off but haven't finished anything at all. lol. I need to motivate. Finals are coming!! I'll be out of class here in a few weeks. Its quite thrilling and terrifying at the same time because of course finals pressure. =) Other than that, nope, life is just sorta ticking along. How bout you?

Not much, 'nother short delay in getting the GED, gives me more to study. Know what you mean about the working on stuff but having nothing finished. I've got to have at least have a dozen stories I've been writing all at once- and somehow I've managed to keep them separate. My main problem with it is that I'll have an idea that I like, but the time line is messed up (they're fanfics mostly) for what I want to do, and I'm lazy so I don't want to have to do a complete rewrite of the material. Is that wrong? That and my muse has had to much caffeine lately me thinks. Some advice with the finals, see if your teachers will let you chew gum during them, it helps to improve concentration and gives you something to do to take your mind of the stress. Well, I'm going to bed now, I've got that tingly feeling in my eyeballs that's telling me I've been up too long. Later.

Bummer. A dozen at once? Impressive. I don't think that not wanting to go back and change the timeline is bad, it just means you like what you wrote the first time. lol. And yeah, the caffeine could have something to do with it, caffeine has interesting effects on people. I am familiar with the gum trick, its a good one, but gum or no you can't really escape the feeling that too much is happening at once. Too much to do. lol. Mm, sleep sounds pretty good. Hahah, I love the SciFi channel. Movie: Carnosaurs "explorers find a group of dinosaurs living in mining tunnels..." Its grand.

Glanced at it for a second on the guide, didn't feel like watching it though. But, I agree, I love SciFi! heh, last conversation of mine that strayed close to the SciFi subject got sucked straight to Doctor Who and the Daleks. EXTERMINATE! Actually, that's one of the things that started it. I still have yet to figure out how I'm keeping everything separated though, I mean there are a few overflow ideas, but that's just bound to happen in any kind of writing, you find an idea you like in a story and you try to take it with you. Kishimoto's timeline actually has quiet a few holes in it, don't get me wrong Naruto is a good story, it's just got a lot of inconsistencies in the time thing. (there's a really sciencey term for you the 'Time Thing'- if I didn't know better, I would swear I was high right now) Well, my psycho-er-ic powers are tingling now, I can see nice comfortable beds in the future for both of us. (caught myself before I said 'a nice comfortable bed for both of us', amazing the difference to little letters can make huh?)
